My name is Hild and I hail from the Canton of Ritterwald, Kingdom of Atlantia. I am new to the SCA in this Year of the Plague (2020) and have sincerely enjoyed getting to know my peers throughout the kingdom as well as the known world through virtual collegiums and bardics.

Although I am new to the Society, and therefor want to try everything that is on offer, my interests lie primarily in sewing, embroidery, and woodworking. I also look forward to practicing the rapier and once in person events begin again. My person is from Mercia in the 10th century, which was a kingdom in which is now known as England ruled by Aethelfled, the Lady of Mercia, and contantly at battle with the Danes and other northern invaders. I am half Mercian and half Dane, and although I grew up in Mercia raised predominantly by my Mercian family, I still embrace aspects of my Danish culture.
